Web v1.15.2Current release
Data loading and Feedback fixes
Small improvements to connecting your WaniKani account, opening study pages, and returning to Feedback search results.
Highlights
Improvement
Less to download when connecting WaniKani
When you first connect your account, Wanascope only downloads radicals, kanji, and vocabulary from levels your WaniKani plan includes.
Fix
Fixed duplicate loading on study pages
Fixed an issue that loaded your progress twice when you opened a study page after a WaniKani sync.
Keep your search when returning to Feedback
Open a Feedback post and return to the list without losing your search or your Open or Resolved selection. The browser’s Back and Forward buttons now restore those choices correctly, too.

Lighter everyday study
Improvement
Today downloads less data on mobile and desktop, while Coverage, Forecast, and reviews do less background work as you browse and study.
Calmer loading and Feedback browsing
Improvement
Clearer loading messages and fewer pulsing effects make page transitions less distracting. Feedback keeps existing posts visible while new search results or filters load.
A smoother way in
Fix
Sign-in, demo, and FAQ controls wait until they can respond to your taps. The demo prepares its study data before opening, and its button stays the same size while loading.
More room for the details
Polish
Coverage filters and Progress timing labels fit better on small screens, while Forecast cards and Today’s Study rhythm panel give wrapped text and swipe hints room to stay readable.
